OPERATION

This new system is totally controlled by the operator with the brake release foot pedal and a push up button, push down button and a stop button.

When the operator wants the platform to travel he presses down on the brake release foot pedal and the brake release and the motor function are automatically started. Any time the operator wants the platform to stop he merely removes his foot from the brake release foot pedal. The fact that the brake release foot pedal starts and stops the electric motor that drives the platform results in a much simpler system.

The orientation and alignment of the sprockets guide rollers and roller chains provide for a stable system that is free of backlash in both directions.
